Hurry, The Flash Prebuilt Will Be Gone FAST!

Today’s PC Prebuilt feature is all about speed because it’s rightfully named The Flash and it’s coming from one of our top seller yet again, PC Lab LLC. For less than $900 you’re getting about as much speed as you can get with a “New Parts” type of build and it’s packing some great performance and aesthetics for this price tier. Let’s take a closer look before it’s too late.

Favorite Features:

  • RX 7600 - As the price of this GPU comes down a bit I’m starting to like it even more. This 8GB GPU is a beast in 1080p and can play all of the latest titles at really high frame rates and settings. It’s a perfect pairing for this price range of a build, as well as a perfect pairing for our GPU.
  • Ryzen 5 5500 - And speaking of which, this Ryzen 5 5500 is a fantastic choice as well. It’s perfect for these 1080p, lower budget type of builds and it performs just under the more popular Ryzen 5 5600. You’re still getting 6 cores and 12 threads with it and being on the AM4 platforms ensures that you’ll still have a great upgrade path with it for the future.
  • NZXT H210i - At this point the H210i is starting to be a throwback, which is probably why I still love seeing people build inside of it. This case is definitely on the larger end of ITX builds, but the black and red combination looks so good here combined with the other parts. It’s a bit more of a unique design compared to the typical fish tank/all-glass style of cases that we’ve been seeing for the past year.

Price to Performance Value:

The performance value here is certainly solid, but I wouldn’t say it’s rocking the best value on the Jawa platform right now. If you’re specifically interested in a red/black smaller footprint gaming PC under $1000 then it’s definitely a top choice. But if you’re more interested in a zero-aesthetics, every last FPS for your dollar kind of build then this wouldn’t be the one. For reference though, the RX 7600 performs just under the RTX 4060 in a lot of different titles, and those builds are typically still going for around the $1000 price range.

First Upgrades:

This build is in a great spot right now and if the buyer is only trying to achieve 1080p gaming, they’ll be set for a while. If they were to try to boost this up to a 1440p gaming PC, multiple upgrades will probably have to be made for that to happen. For example if you want to throw in a high end AM4 X3D CPU, you might want to also update the A520 motherboard. If you want to upgrade the graphics card, you’ll probably also want to replace the Segotep 650W power supply. I like the build where it’s at right now for 1080p.

Conclusion

For Flash fans or even just red/black PC build fans, this is a great option for less than $900. This gaming PC prebuilt will speed right through every single title in 1080p, and it also won’t take up a lot of room on your desk.

Reminder!

Linus and Luke from Linus Tech Tips will be purchasing some parts on Jawa for their upcoming Scrapyard Wars video series! If you have some extra PC hardware laying around, get that posted on Jawa soon so they have a chance of buying it!
